A sketch card illustration painted as a tribute to the magnificent portrayal of the third incarnation of The Doctor by Jon Pertwee. Rendered in black Indian and coloured inks. The early to mid 70s would have been a much lesser experience without him!!

Yes, a choice time to be the Doctor in the early 70s, all that Earth-based stuff was truly scary!

I think the enlarged image exagerates the tradtional linework but hey, it's a 70s homage! Many thanks for the kind comments, he WAS the Doc!
